Button Eyed Dolls

Button-eyed dolls have arrived at my shop!

They are 9 inches tall with patterned dresses and tiny little boots. They are each bursting with personality and looking for loving homes!

I decided to make these button-eyed dolls when I found these beautiful wooden buttons and wanted to do something with them. At the time I couldn't figure out a plan for them, but I bought them anyway. Then I found an old doll pattern I had made years ago and thought the head was the perfect size for the buttons. Everything just came together perfectly for me to make these spooky little cuties!

I sell them a little cheaper than my regular dolls at $30 because they are smaller and a little quicker to sew up. I struggled with actually selling the dolls or selling the pattern but the dolls turned out so well I decided to share them with others. One day I may still sell the pattern.

I'm currently working on finishing my Rainbow Dolls. I still have Purple, Red, Yellow, and Orange left to make. I'm also making more of these button-eyed dolls for the shop. I don't have any immediate plans to make more monster girl dolls at the moment, except for a zombie girl I've been planning for a while. I also might make another Orc soon. The one and only Orc in my shop seems a little lonely.

Other than that I've just been making dolls as the ideas for them come to me. I've made quite a few mermaids recently and listed them in my shop. I also just released two new doll patterns for you to try out, the Beginner Doll Pattern and the Mini Mermaid Pattern.
